Christians - Is sex before marriage right in your opinion?

As a christian, i've always believed it wrong to have sex before marriage as this is what the bible teaches, though having thought about this recently, i no longer seem to see such a 'problem' with it. What is your view on this?Christians - Is sex before marriage right in your opinion?
devoted, you are mistaken! Sex was given to us to enjoy, but not to abuse. when the advocates of evil try to make it tasteless and add filth to make it disgusting and unnatural is the greater misuse. In so many words, the bible mentions a man that lays with a maiden, should then seek to join with that maiden in partnership. State regulated marriage was not necessary .the thing that joined a man and woman, was '; He covered her with his skirt '; and they became man and wife. Sex before marriage was not necessary a sin. a lot of us would be obscure and missing if not for sex before marriage, and would not be in keeping with God's master plan!Christians - Is sex before marriage right in your opinion?
It is wrong. It can lead to Hypocrisy at the altar. We have a Eucharist minister in the Parish who just got married to his live in girlfriend of 7 years. They had a baby during the live in relationship that died. They lied about everything to the Parish. In society this may seem to be normal but when you are a Eucharist minister there is an expectation of spiritual integrity. So basically at this point the MINISTRY is teaching our young people how to fake it at the altar, premarital sex and children are ok if you lie to everyone about it, it is ok to be Christian if you do not let the altar or the teaching get in your way. These are horrible things to teach our children. The last thing they need to be taught is how to sell out their values, morals, and the basic principles of their belief system. It takes far more integrity and strength to step away from the altar if you disagree with the teachings than it does to sell out and fake it.
The bible speaks out agaisnt fornication, which is sex before marriage.
