That's an easy one:
If...
Murderers can get married...
Infertile people can get married...
Old people can get married...
Racists can get married...
Men who commit domestic violence can get married...
People with low IQ can get married.
People with hereditary diseases can get married...
People who commit all types of crimes can get married...
AND all of the above seem fit to educate children...

Plus: after almost 10 years of gay marriage in Denmark, something horrible happened: nothing!What should i put for my speech project, its about gay marriage and I'm for it?
Point 1: American ideology is based on the Declaration of Independence. From it we derive the most basic rights of Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness. We believe that ALL men are created equal. By depriving an entire section of the American population of the right to marriage, you are depriving them of not only equality under the law, but also of the most basic right of the pursuit of happiness! This is a deprivation of basic American liberties based on prejudice and hatred. We must not allow this to continue.
Point 2: American law prohibits religious discrimination, and provides for the separation of church and state. What is the argument against gay marriage? It is a religious definition of marriage that defines it as between a man and a woman. By not allowing gays to marry, you are favoring Christianity over other religious veiws, thus gay marriage is protected by the first amendment.
Point 3: ';All men are created equal.'; in America, everyone is treated equally under the law. If you get married, you get tax breaks, and other benefits. By not allowing gays to marry, you deprive them of financial benefits that are afforded to straight couples.
';anyone can love'; is stronger. I understand if you're trying to be poetic, but it just sounds gramatically incorrect. This should be the easiest assignment in your life. Every single point the other side has is ridiculously eas y to refute. Childs play.
Just elaborate on the statement, like ';Marriage is about love, right? It's about connecting yourself to someone you love in every way possible. And one hundred percent of the population can love, so why only give the right to marry to ninety percent?';
I think it's best to tackle at it's very essence. Is marriage a legal social construct or a religious covenant? This is a legal issue so it should be no question that two consenting adults of any gender should be allowed to marry each other.
The real question to answer is why do those in love so desperately need a piece of paper from the government to affirm that love?
