I live in texas, My fiancee is in the army. Can i get our marriage license without him here with me? He is coming home on a 4 day but he wont be here until that saturday and the courthouse will be closed on that monday for Presidents day and he has to leave on that tuesday. you might be surprised at what your base welfare officer can manage or the base chaplain. they may be able to get his signature faxed and the army vouch for the id. worth a try. good luck.it would be a great 4 day homecoming and wedding celebration for you and your families.

i dont think you can, he would need to give you a special power of attonery and it also depends on what state your in since most states have diffrent laws on this issues.
