Do you think Carrie Prejean should have lied about how she felt about Marriage?

can you control how you feel about something like that?Do you think Carrie Prejean should have lied about how she felt about Marriage?
No, that was her opinion and you have to respect her for it.Do you think Carrie Prejean should have lied about how she felt about Marriage?
Carrie is a tough lady, like that miss Universe from Russia - who are not afraid of anyone and everyone like most girls are.
You can open up yourself to understand others' views %26amp; individual situations where gay marriages are justified. She has the right to voice her opinion. But, she is confrontational %26amp; stubborn. Reminds me of the reverend who was disgusted by homosexuality but believes that it can be cured, %26amp; enjoy male prostitution for the time being.
i would of answered the same, and why would they spring up a question like that to her anyways... did they already know how she felt on that subject
who cares? I wanna see the solo sextape of hers instead
I find out about politics on SNL . . .
No. She has the right to disagree with gay marriage.
I believe she shouldn't have to but she really should have been diplomatic about it. After all, isn't that her role as a beauty queen?
She DID lie about how she felt about marriage.

She said that her feelings about it were ';just what she was raised to accept'; she had had nothing personal against it, but that's just her opinion. She also claimed that gays COULD have same sex marriages in the US if they wanted them (which was not a lie--just stupid).

But immediately AFTER the pageant she's hooking up with various political groups, doing PSA's, interviews condemning the ';gay agenda';, speaking engagements, the whole nine yards.

So obviously her opposition was far more fervent, and political, than she claimed during the pageant.
Of course she was right. Every person has the right to they're own opinion, whether or not it is popular. I commend her for sticking to her beliefs when there was likely a large amount of pressure to lie. Its really too bad she was punished for her honesty. Straying true to yourself and your morals is a virtue that shows a lot about ones character.

And of course you can control how you feel about something like gay marriage. She believed this not out of ignorance, but as a religious belief. In the end, she was persecuted for this.
It was a damned if she did, damned if she did not, answer....She would have caught flack from either

side.....my thought~~
No, it's good that she did that. Even though I disagree with her, I fully respect her right to express her opinion.
Everyone is entitled to their opinions and their own beliefs, and that people totally over reacted on both sides...but there's a time and place for it, and that wasn't it. I agree with gay marriage, but I do think that the Perez had put her in a bad spot, he's a tool anyway. The question wasn't appropriate for that kind of thing. When you are trying to win Miss America, you should probably just smile and wave and wish for world piece if you want to win, any smart girl would've known that. I would've just said I'd rather not discuss it with them.
She has the right to her opinion, but she should have known there'd be some backlash for it. Why they were asking such a question at a beauty pagent is beyond me. I thought we only asked questions that required a response of ';World Peace';?
No, but she shouldn't have gone on a ';save traditional marriage'; campaign.
That woman is a legend.

I root for her, she has her own opinions and if I was in her place I would of said the same thing to Perez Hilton.

Who is Donald Thrump? An old man who's pageant's are always biased.

He said that Miss Venezuela 1996 was going to be dethroned because she was getting fat.

He called her a vending machine at a local radio station.

Come on, Donald. . . I though he had respect for the Misses!
No, she shouldn't have lied. She should just get out in the world and educate herself before the next time she opens her mouth on the subject (just my opinion).
