There is no actual ';theme'; for the 17th wedding anniversary but the gift for the 17th wedding anniversary is furniture, either Contemporary or Modern. I know that sounds odd, but that is from the Big Book of Etiquette. Congratulations !!

The 25th anniversary is refered to as the silver anniversary because, traditionally, that was the theme of gifts exchanged. The 17th doesn't have a traditional theme, but the modern theme is apparently furniture.
