FYI there is a gay and lesbian section, i think you can get better answers there. anyway, i think another topic can be Love. Isnt that what marriage is actually about.
Their culture, tight knit community, or the discrimination they have face (similar to blacks of the 1960's) would all make interesting topics.
Economic Repercussions: How gay marriage will effect the economy? How gay marriage will effect insurance claims?
